The Southern Pre-Placement Training Program is designed to provide opportunities for Aboriginal candidates to gain on-the-job training to learn the technical skills and competencies required in the technical trades:
The Pre-Placement Program is approximately 10 months in duration. There is no guarantee of ongoing employment at the completion of the Pre-Placement Program.
High school graduate with at least one of the following: Mathematics 40S (Applied or Pre-Calculus), Physics 40S or English 40.
Selected candidates will be provided educational assistance to upgrade to the minimum academic requirements for the Operating Technician and Power Electrician Training Programs.
