Manitoba Hydro sponsors a variety of projects with the goal of increasing the breadth and depth of knowledge across a wide range of technical, social and environmental issues.
While Manitoba Hydro works on a number of research projects internally, many of the projects are done in partnership with businesses and both of the local universities, as well as some out of province universities.
These relationships benefit the university by increased research and the ability to attract promising students, and it benefits Manitoba Hydro in the form of ideas and technologies that can be used in improving our performance.
