  1. Each participating utility calculates bills based on its rates as of May 1, 2012.
  2. All bills exclude federal, provincial, or municipal taxes. Newfoundland Power does however include a Municipal Tax and Rate Stabilization Adjustment which is built into their rates.
  3. ENMAX's Residential and Small Commercial (≤ 5000 kWh) bill calculations are based on the May 2012 Regulated Rate Option (RRO) energy charge of 6.3504 ¢/kWh.
  4. EPCOR bill calculations are based on the May 2012 Regulated Rate Option (RRO) energy charge of 6.356 ¢/kWh.
  5. Hydro One Networks's bill calculations for Residential are based on an average seasonal commodity price and include the Ontario Clean Energy Benefit (OCEB) which provides a 10% discount on the entire bill.
  6. Kenora Hydro's bill calculations for Residential and General Service Small are based on the average Time of Use commodity price. The OCEB 10% discount was applied to both the Residential and General Service Small bill calculations.
  7. Toronto Hydro Electric System Ltd's bill calculations for Residential are based on an average seasonal commodity price.
