Contractor Employment Database

A Contractor Employment Database program has been established to enable Manitoba Hydro to track all equity hiring (Aboriginal Peoples, Members of Visible Minority Groups, Women and Persons with Disabilities) doing on-site service work valued at $5,000 or more where external labour is used.

The objective of this program is to survey Contractor's employees doing work on Manitoba Hydro's behalf and allow Manitoba Hydro to report on specific groups affected by our spending.

Required documents to be download by contractors:

• Employee Equity Survey for Contracted Work or Services in Manitoba form This form is to be sent to your Manitoba Hydro site representative for each contractor employee working on a Manitoba Hydro site.
  • Keeyask Project Employee Report. This form is to be sent to your Manitoba Hydro Keeyask project representative for each contractor employee working on a Keeyask site.
  • Wuskwatim Project Employee Report. This form is to be sent to your Manitoba Hydro Wuskwatim project representative for each contractor employee working on a Wuskwatim site.
  • Pointe du Bois Project Employee Report. This form is to be sent to your Manitoba Hydro Pointe du Bois project representative for each contractor employee working on a Pointe du Bois site.
• Sample Reporting Template to update Manitoba Hydro on classification changes and hours worked by individual contractor employees. This report can be emailed to Purchasing.
