Eligibility

Incentive eligibility is based on customer and washer requirements.

To qualify you must be:

• a Manitoba Hydro customer billed at Manitoba Hydro's Electrical General Service Rate;
• the owner or in control of the building where the washer(s) is/are located.

The washer(s) must be:

• ENERGY STAR qualified, front-loading, and commercial grade with a Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 2.0 or greater;
• new and have a higher energy efficiency rating than the existing washer(s);
• purchased within the program timelines;
• installed in non-single-family facilities, such as:
  • laundromats;
  • multi-resident housing common laundry areas including:
    • apartments;
    • student housing;
    • military barracks.

Installation in-suite is not eligible.
