Every day Simplot Foods produces one million pounds of frozen French fries and hash browns. They reuse waste and have reduced their natural gas consumption by 15 per cent. Their lighting upgrades have reduced their electricity by 70 per cent. |

Seven Oaks School Division partnered with Manitoba Hydro to build West Kildonan Collegiate to Power Smart Design Standards. As a result, the school is saving $30,000 in energy costs per year, saved more than $100,000 in capital costs, and reduced their greenhouse gas emissions by 250 tonnes. That is the equivalent of taking 75 cars off the road for a year. |

The NOR-MAN Regional Health Authority improved the energy efficiency of their Emergency Medical Services ambulance garages in The Pas and Grand Rapids, and their Health Complex in The Pas. The upgrades reduced their energy bill by $20,000 annually and saved more than $30,000 in capital costs. Savings benefits include a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions that equals taking 100 cars off the road for a year. |
