Natural Gas Rates Decrease

On August 1, 2011, Manitoba Hydro's Primary Gas rate will decrease from 15.48¢ per cubic metre to 14.68¢, which results in an annualized bill decrease ranging from 2.0% to 3.5% for larger volume customers depending on the rate class and level of consumption.

Billing percentages (Primary and Supplemental gas) will also be adjusted to:

Firm (SGS, LGS, HVF, MLF): 89% Primary & 11% Supplemental; (previous billing percentages: 90% Primary & 10% Supplemental)
Interruptible: 37% Primary & 63% Supplemental; (previous billing percentages: 45% Primary & 55% Supplemental).
