How Does EnerTrend™ Work?

Advanced interval metering, installed at your site, continuously collects data on the energy consumption of your operation. EnerTrend™'s sophisticated energy profiling software processes your data and forwards it to your password protected account. You can view your energy consumption profiles by accessing the EnerTrend™ website at any time, day or night. EnerTrend™ is available for both electric and natural gas customers, and it generates a variety of energy profiles for your business. These profiles, or snapshots, make it easy to understand your energy usage at a glance.

Manitoba Hydro offers reduced EnerTrend™ fees to monitor facilities with multiple meters or companies with multiple sites.

Peak summary reports can be generated for both electrical and natural gas consumption, and for any period of time.

EnerTrend™ Requirements

You can access EnerTrend™ from your computer with Microsoft Internet Explorer using most Windows operating systems. EnerTrend™ also requires the Microsoft.NET framework to be installed on your computer. This framework is free, requires about 25 megabytes of space on your hard drive, and can be downloaded and installed from the Microsoft website in a matter of minutes. Visit the EnerTrend website

• Connection Fee: $270*
• Monthly Fee: $80 for first meter, $65 for any additional meters on site
• Term: 2 years, non-cancelable

*Notes:

1. Manitoba Hydro will charge the connection fee of $270 for each electricity and natural gas meter connected to EnerTrend™.
2. The customer will be responsible for additional gas meter conversion costs, if necessary.
