Eligible product list

Search our list of eligible products before you apply for the Commercial Lighting Program (CLP). All incentive applications must be reviewed and pre-approved by Manitoba Hydro in writing prior to the purchase and installation of any lighting equipment in order to participate in the program and receive a financial incentive. Manitoba Hydro must approve all products on the eligible product list.

Financial incentives are available for LED screw-in lamps that are not on our eligible product list but are ENERGY STAR® certified if the product meets the CLP Technical Specification Guide (PDF, 1.4 MB).

Financial incentives are available for all other LED products that are not on our eligible product list but are on the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Qualified Products List if the product meets the CLP Technical Specification Guide (PDF, 1.4 MB).

You are responsible for ensuring that the LED product being purchased is suitable for the environment in which it is being installed. The CLP will determine if the LED product is suitable for any incentives.

If your product does not appear on  the applicable list, please contact your local agent or product manufacturer to initiate an approval request for the product.

New product testing

We require specific product information before your lighting product can be evaluated for listing on our eligible product list. Submission requirements for lighting technologies can be found below.
