Network Energy Management Program

Reduce unnecessary personal computers (PCs) energy use. The Network Energy Management Program offers commercial customers a rebate to install network management software. The software programs shut down (PCs) when they are inactive and allows network administrators to perform regular maintenance tasks, such as IT upgrades and installations.

Rebate

A rebate is available to cover 100 per cent of the cost of the eligible software program and installation costs up to a maximum of $15 per software licence.

How to take part

1. Purchase and install eligible software
   Pre-approval is not required. Work with your IT department to purchase one of four eligible software programs:
   • Verdiem Surveyor;
   • 1E's Nightwatchman / 1E Wakeup;
   • Faronics Powersave;
   • BigFix Power Management.
2. Submit documentation
   After one month of using the software program, submit:
   • an energy saving report generated by the software program;
   • the completed Network Energy Management Program application form;
   • the Network Energy Management completion questionnaire.

We will review your energy report, application form, and completion questionnaire, and provide the applicable rebate.
