More than half the water used for commercial dishwashing is consumed during the pre-rinse. An energy efficient pre-rinse spray valve reduces your water and energy bills, while still getting dishes as clean as before.
Standard pre-rinse spray valves can consume large quantities of water and energy (used to heat the water). Efficient pre-rinse spray valves use less water and a concentrated "knife-like" spray pattern to direct the water exactly where you need it, much like a pressure washer.
While a standard pre-rinse spray valve flows at 11–15 litres per minute, an energy efficient valve uses under 5 litres per minute — a reduction of 55–65 per cent. If you use your spray valve just 2 hours a day, you could save $560 per year in water consumption and $500 per year in energy costs. That's over $5,000 in 5 years!
Independent testing shows that an energy efficient spray valve performs as well as, or better than, a standard valve for all your rinsing needs.
