How to Take Part

Ask your contractor about the Residential Propane and Oil Furnace/Boiler Replacement Program.

Your contractor can help you fill out the owner occupied program application. If you own a home but do not live there, use the non-owner occupied application.

To qualify for the $245 rebate — available for a limited time only — replace your current propane or oil furnace/boiler with one of the following qualifying systems:

• a high efficient minimum 92 per cent AFUE natural gas furnace with DC variable-speed motor;
• an electric furnace or electric boiler;
• a minimum 85 per cent AFUE efficient natural gas boiler.

Mail your completed application form along with detailed invoices to:

Upon verification of the application, we will credit the rebate amount to your Manitoba Hydro bill. Manitoba Hydro accounts in arrears, including the Power Smart Residential Loan and the Energy Finance Plan, will be credited first and the remainder of the rebate balance (if applicable) will then be credited to your active account.
