Pre-authorized Payment Plan

With our Pre-authorized Payment Plan, monthly payments are automatically withdrawn from your bank on the payment due date. You must be a Manitoba Hydro customer (owner or tenant) with an account in good standing. You can combine pre-authorized payments with the Equal Payment Plan and MyBill.

You will continue to receive bills with the dollar amount and date of your withdrawal for your records. You can change the amount being withdrawn, but on an exception basis. Call 204-480-5900 or 1-888-624-9376 at least 3 business days before the due date. Any balance will appear on your next bill and will be included with your current charges on your next withdrawal. Balances of $20 or more are subject to a late payment charge.

If there is not enough money in your bank account, a second attempt will be made in 5 to 10 business days. If the second attempt fails, we will send you a written notice and charge a $20 NSF fee, along with any applicable late payment charges. Your financial institution may also charge you NSF fees for each attempted withdrawal.

If you have NSF fees with us 2 months in a row, your pre-authorized payments will be cancelled. Read more about what to do if you can't pay your bill.
