Northwest Winnipeg Natural Gas Project
The Northwest Winnipeg Natural Gas Project consists of a new 12- and 6-inch natural gas transmission pipeline to support and continue a reliable source of natural gas north of Winnipeg.
The Northwest Winnipeg Natural Gas Project provides a continual and reliable source of natural gas to customers located north of Winnipeg and provide operational flexibility in the Winnipeg transmission network.
The project extends the existing natural gas pipeline at Selkirk Avenue and the Perimeter, runs north to Stonewall and then travels east to connect with an existing pipeline near Selkirk, Manitoba. The pipeline located from Provincial Road #321 to Stonewall has a 6-inch diameter and the remainder of the project has a 12-inch diameter.
