Rates effective September 1, 2023

Effective September 1, 2023, electricity rates increased on average 1.0%.

Residential standard rates – electricity

Energy charge 9.455¢/kWh
Minimum monthly bill is the basic charge.
Residential seasonal rates – electricity
Charge Cost
Basic annual charge not exceeding 200 Amp $111.96
Energy charge 9.455¢/kWh
Minimum annual bill is the basic charge. The account is billed twice a year, April and October, each for a six-month period. The April billing is for the Annual Basic Charge plus past winter season’s consumption. The October billing is for the summer season’s consumption only. Applicable to customers using less than 7,500 kWh per season.
Residential diesel rates – electricity

Basic monthly charge not exceeding 60 Amp $8.08
Energy charge 8.196¢/kWh
Minimum monthly bill is the monthly basic charge. The residential rate applies to all residential services in the diesel communities, provided the service capacity does not exceed 60 A, 120/240 V, single phase.

Natural gas

Rates effective February 1, 2024

Effective February 1, 2024, the Gas Commodity rate is 8.57¢/m3.

Delivery is the total of: Transportation to Centra charges at 4.52¢/m3 plus Distribution to customer charges at 7.81¢/m3.
