Bringing Manitobans together under the northern lights

Aurora Winterfest in Churchill, Manitoba is a wonderful example of the positive impact of community collaboration and support through action, involvement, and sponsorship.

It’s an event which unites people of diverse backgrounds to celebrate the beauty of winter and Manitoba’s unique culture. As an organization we recognize its importance. Community is vital to our well-being, providing us with a sense of belonging, connection, and support.

Attending the Aurora Winterfest this year, which took place from March 11-31, after close to 10 years of sponsorship, offered us a fantastic opportunity to connect with community, and celebrate culture and history.

From adorable pups to lively dancers, there is something enjoyable for everyone. However, beyond the entertainment, events like the Aurora Winterfest highlight the importance of community.

As Manitobans, we have a responsibility to give back to our communities. Through active volunteerism, charitable donations, and sponsorship of events like the Aurora Winterfest, we can contribute to building a stronger and more vibrant Manitoba for all.
