Manitoba Hydro employees and contractors are visiting homes and businesses across Manitoba as part of a province-wide audit of natural gas meters and regulators.

Example of natural gas meter and regulator
Over the next 12-14 months, personnel will visit 90,000 residential and commercial customers to inspect their natural gas meters and regulators. Meters measure the volume of natural gas consumed; regulators control the pressure. The meters and regulators may be located together, or in separate places outside or inside a residence or business.
This audit is critical for the continued safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to our customers. It is a separate process from meter reading.
Manitoba Hydro employees and contractors performing this work will be wearing specific Manitoba Hydro branded high-visibility shirts or vests, and display a Manitoba Hydro identification badge.
