Planned outages

A planned outage is any time we intentionally disrupt electrical service to perform system maintenance or install new equipment. They’re part of our efforts to ensure our electrical system remains reliable.

We do everything we can to provide reliable power and minimize disruptions to your electrical service. However, as we repair, maintain, and upgrade our electrical system, there are times we need to schedule power outages. Read more about system renewal.

If you have an unplanned outage, report your outage online.

Times shown are approximate and list is subject to change. List includes outages for which we have at least 1 business day’s notice and affect larger numbers of customers. For planned outages affecting smaller numbers of customers, those customers are notified directly.

In many cases, planned outages are necessary for the safety of our crews as they complete their complex work. We may plan weeks in advance or we may have only 1 to 2 hours notice. Some outages are during the day and others are planned for the middle of the night.
