Project overview
Notre Dame station project is part of our substation renewal, which is designed to reinvest in Winnipeg’s electrical distribution system to improve reliability. The work we’re doing on Notre Dame is conversion work.
Conversion means we’re removing Notre Dame station and transferring load to a newer station. The newer station uses higher voltages than the old one, so we also need to upgrade all the transformers, lines and/or underground cables, poles and associated infrastructure in your area.

When the work is done, you’ll have more reliable infrastructure. That means fewer long, unplanned power outages in your area.
This work may require road closures and power outages to complete.
