Neighbours Helping Neighbours

Neighbours Helping Neighbours is a one-time support grant for residential customers to help cover the cost of an overdue energy bill. It’s funded by private and corporate donations and run in partnership with The Salvation Army. If you’re struggling to make ends meet, this can help.

The amount of the grant will vary depending on the overdue amount owing and the heat source used in your home. For example, if your overdue balance is $325, you may be eligible for a grant of $325.

Maximum grants available are up to $500 for customers who heat their homes primarily with electricity, and up to $400 for customers with homes not primarily heated with electricity (e.g. natural gas heat).
