Accounting intern program
Our accounting intern program is an exciting professional accounting training program with diverse career opportunities designed to develop your skills, provide challenging assignments in the field of accounting/finance and prepare you for a future professional career. You'll be exposed to rotational assignments over the course of three years while pursuing your professional designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Manitoba.
Digital & technology career development program
Our digital & technology career development program is a comprehensive training program designed to be challenging and rewarding, allowing you to join other graduates to develop your skills, knowledge and experience to transform from an academic to a professional business environment. Opportunities for exposure will include artificial intelligence, cloud enablement, cyber security, enterprise and solution architecture. You'll have the opportunity to rotate into different areas over the course of 24 months.

Engineer-in-training program
Our Engineer-in-training program offers exciting and diverse career opportunities, allowing you to join other graduates to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to transform from an academic to a professional business environment. You'll be exposed to challenging assignments that will provide training towards a professional engineer designation.
Work locations and rotations
Our Engineer-in-training program provides trainees with rotational work assignments throughout Manitoba Hydro and opportunity to explore various engineering activities. The program is intended to last about two years or the equivalent of four rotations. Our trainees generally rotate every six months. Our rotations are a spring to fall or fall to spring cycle.
Work assignments can be in a variety of areas. We will take into consideration the trainees’ discipline, interests, and our needs. Rotations can be in Winnipeg, but can also be in a location that’s outside of Winnipeg. If you’re placed in location that’s outside of Winnipeg (i.e. Brandon or Gillam) and that location requires you to relocate there, you’ll be provided with accommodations and daily meal per diems.
Let us know if you’d like your rotation to be in Brandon or Gillam. Not every trainee will rotate to Brandon or Gillam. Every trainee will be provided with ample notice with respect to their rotation to a location outside of Winnipeg.
Trainees may bring their spouses/common-law partners and/or dependents to Brandon or Gillam at their own expense.

- we do not accept web transcripts
If you’re in your graduating year, in the same year that you apply to our EIT program, you may provide an unofficial transcript from your post-secondary institution. Unofficial transcripts are documents that you may be able to access from your post-secondary institution:
- Access your student account to see what transcripts are available to you.
- An unofficial transcript may look similar to an official transcript.
- An unofficial transcript may not require a payment and may be available immediately as a pdf document.
- An unofficial transcript should include your post-secondary institution’s name and logo, your full name and student identification number, the date of the requested document, list of courses, credited hours, and term GPA.
- Contact your registrar’s office if unsure.
Completed (you’ve completed your degree/program)
- we only accept official transcripts
- we do not accept web transcripts
If you’ve completed your education prior to the date that you applied to our EIT program, you’ll be required to provide an official transcript. An official transcript is accessed/requested through your post-secondary institution and includes:
- post-secondary institution name, logo
- your name, your student identification number
- name of degree awarded and declared major
- list of courses and grades earned by level (undergraduate, graduate)
- term GPA
Transcripts
- You may break the envelope seal.
- You can scan the transcript and provide a pdf copy as your attachment.
- We do not require official transcripts to be mailed to our office.
