Your paper bills will not be delivered during a postal strike

A labour disruption at Canada Post will prevent the delivery of your Manitoba Hydro paper bills and your payments. Do not put cheques in the mail during a strike.

You’re responsible for making payments on time during a postal strike. You can avoid delays, missed payments and late payment charges by signing up for an online account.

Learn how to set up an online account.

You can view your account balance and bill due date through an online account. If you set up an online account, you can still continue to receive a paper bill if you like. To avoid forgetting to make a payment set up pre-authorized payments through your online account.

Payments can also be made in person or online through your bank or credit union. Read more about payment options.

If you choose not to set up an online account, call 1-888-MB HYDRO (1-888-624-9376). You’ll need your 14-digit account number. The automated system will provide account balance and due date.

If you want to speak to a customer service representative, you may be on hold for a period of time due to higher call volumes.

If you still need help

If you have trouble making full payment on time, you can ask about payment arrangements. Read more about ways to pay.
