Required documents

Attach a map/site plan showing the lots to be pre-serviced now, and if applicable, any future phases.

A map indicating the additional service point locations can also be uploaded at this time.

Do not attach your AutoCAD file. We will contact you to finalize your application and request your AutoCAD file. Plans must include lot frontages, grades, water and sewer, and if applicable, drawing/footprints of the homes.

Developer Choice Program contract

If your subdivision qualifies and your Developer Choice Program application is accepted, you will be sent an Investment Quotation Letter that details the investments and expenses Manitoba Hydro will contribute and collect.

You must sign a contract with Manitoba Hydro in order to proceed with the Developer Choice Program. Documents which form part of the contract include but are not limited to:

  • General Conditions;
  • Documentation, Drawings, and Records;
  • Design Guidelines and Installation Standards;
  • Inspection, Testing, and Acceptance of Work and Energization;
  • Material Standards and Specifications.

These documents are available through the contractor portal.
